White and Sweet Potato Mash

white and sweet potato mash

I’m torn: I love white potatoes and I love sweet potatoes. And, I don’t know which one is really my favorite cause some days I love white potatoes more, and other days I crave baked sweet potatoes at 8 o’clock in the morning. I compromise with myself by making a batch of white and sweet potato mash whenever I want the best of both worlds in one bowl.

White and Sweet Potato Mash All The Day

Half sweet, half savory boiled potatoes, and some butter, cheese, and green onions thrown into the mix for fun and flavor. Yep. This one potato, two potato mash is the perfect side dish for just about any main dish you can come up with in the kitchen. It’s also a filling main dish of its own that goes great with steamed broccoli or a simple green salad.

Did I mention that it’s also a stick-with-you breakfast selection? It is, it is!!! If you’re the kind of person (um, like me) who likes dinner-for-breakfast as much as other people like breakfast-for-dinner, you’ll soooo appreciate the leftovers like I do. Promise.
