Grate garlic over a microplaneover a medium-sized bowl. Remove grated garlic from back of microplane with a small spoon, if necessary.
Add remaining ingredients to bowl.
Stir, and serve with fresh veggies or marinated grilled chicken.
Be careful when making large batches of this aioli. When you double, triple, or quadruple the recipe, leave out the dried basil until the very end. Then, add the basil 1 tablespoon at a time to ensure that you do not overly saturate the aioli with too much basil. I've found that when doubling the recipe, I only want three tablespoons of dried basil in the aioli.
